At St Joseph's College, we offer a number of sporting opportunities for our students to participate in. These sports are subject to student numbers and ability to fill teams.

Inter-House Carnivals
Throughout the year, we hold our inter-house sport carnivals for Swminning, Athletics and Cross Country. Students who qualify in their races will move on to compete in the District and Regional competitions.
AGCC Inter-School Sport
St Joseph's College participates in the AGCC interschool sporting competition in Terms 1 - 3, starting from Year 4. Teams include Touch Football, OzTag, Netball, Basketball, Soccer and Rugby League. Other participating schools are Marymount College, Aquinas College, Assisi Catholic College, St Michael's College, Gold Coast Christian College, Kings Pimpama and LORDS.

Learn to Swim
In Term 4, our Primary students participate in a Learn to Swim program that provides skills in Swimming Technique, Water Confidence, Survival, Water Safety and Endurance.
The Learn to Swim Program is designed to promote the development of your child by:
- Achieving new skills and the positive effect this can have on the individual
- Being actively involved in swim activities fostering positive interaction with others
- Commencing a worthwhile recreational activity which can add enjoyment to life
